For my first 5 years as a nomad, I made nearly all of my income as a content creator. Here’s how I built that career.
Even publishers who would never publish AI-written slop aren’t hiring content creators these days, because quality content no longer drives traffic to websites.
AI will just plagiarize whatever you write to be published elsewhere, or read relevant bits of your content out loud in response to a voice search. So why would anyone pay for content?
I’m leaving this post up because it’s still popular, and perhaps something here will be useful to someone. But I encourage you to think twice before investing in this career.
