* What is an Indie Adventure?
We’re not looking at the world through bus windows — we’re squishing it between our toes.
I created these small-group trips for people who like to experience life in faraway places, get to know local people, and delve deep into other cultures.
Nothing wrong with resorts and four-star hotels — but that’s not this trip. My small travel groups are a little rough around the edges.
Our water isn’t always hot, and our towels and pillows might not be fluffy sometimes, but we love being as immersed as possible in the local way of life. And the money we save on fancy lodging lets us dive into more activities and adventures!
Spending time with other cool folks who love to travel this way is half the fun!

Here’s how it works:
- You organize a group of 8-12 people who want to travel together on an Indie-style adventure.
- You and I work together to customize one of my favorite trips to your group’s needs and preferences.
- I’ll quote you a per-person price based on your group size and customizations. For reference, my trips usually range from $1,500-2,000 per person and include everything except travel to the destination, lunches, and dinners. Of course, costs could rise depending on your requests.
- I’ll make up a private group page outlining your trip, so your group members can sign up and pay me directly ($500 non-refundable deposit, balance due 45 days before travel).
- I will meet you at the destination and escort your group throughout the tour.
- I handle all the travel arrangements after your arrival.
- Group members are responsible for their own travel to/from the destination.
- Note that trip availability varies seasonally, depending on where I will be at that time.
